Pale Blue Dot Think of the rivers of blood spilled by those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Once I heard this phrase it hit me like a brick. People fight for glory and to prove a point, they shed blood of their enemies on the battlefield just for half a fraction of a blue dot. The blood of innocent people, lives shattered across the land, they once called their home. Lives have been stolen, taken for granted by the selfishness of horrible people. For instance world war 2, Hitler was the leader and director of the Nazi party and did horrible things to the Jews . Also the treachery of the pearl harbor bombing that the Japanese had placed had ended so many lives. It begs to differ why, why to people suffer just so another can gain half a fraction of a dot. Why do people sacrifice and have been forced to go into battle. Do people not care about their lives, do they think their above one another. Why, just why, why do we just suffer and stand still waiting for someone to instruct us of what to do or who to be. We care too much of what people think that we feel we need to fight our own battles for glory. We live on a pale blue dot that has been in more pain then we have with the bombs and the war.People think the downfall of humanity is pollution and the end of species that are needed in society. But what they haven’t opened their eyes too it is what the cause is. The end of humanity will be humanity its self By: Angelina D.C

If I were able to meet on of the artist it would have to be Emily Carr. She very creative with the way she chose the abstract path of painting landscapes and trees. I was very impressed of how she can make very detailed artwork and how much effort she put into one painting. She is very creative and her landscapes have a meaning too it like how man kind is destroying our ;landscapes and nature. Lui Shou Kwan was also a very amazing artist I love his ink painting and how little colour has so much effect and how calm the painting looks and how appealing it is too look at.
